Grateful for a "reason" to study

I love to read the scriptures and to learn more about the gospel. I am sad to say as busy as I am, I often find myself skipping the scriptures and doing things I need to do for my family or want to do for myself instead of personal scripture study time I am grateful that I get to teach the young women in my ward about once a month.. It forces me into my scriptures and I really have to study hard because the girls I teach are like sponges and I hate to give them mis-information.  I love to learn from the General Conference talks as well and these new lessons are full of GC talks to read through. I also love the personal progress program and am very happy that I am asked to go through it as a leader and as a Mother with Princess.

No less grateful, just more busy

This blog did not last long did it? Bad on me. I still love to idea. I hope to start it up again, if only I update once a week, I hope I can get better at updating. This week I am thankful for busy kids. Not that I like taking them from activity to activity and spending tons of time and money on classes and teams, but I LOVE to see them change, grow and learn something new. I love that moment when something they have been working hard on finally clicks.  This happened for two of my kids this week. Missy Mouse has been learning Irish Step Dance and had her second recital yesterday.She had improved a ton since the last one. She looked so confidant up there! It was wonderful. Also Princess swims and has for years and has really improved these last few weeks. Beautiful, fast strokes, I love to see them do well in sports they love.
